Description
The company was founded in the late 1960s through the work of the Barison family, which of Venetian origin has had wine in the tradition for generations. This passion was sparked by Augusto’s time working in Reims, Champagne. He returned to Italy and settled in the Ferrara area and continued his passion in cultivation there, Annalisa, the daughter who now runs the company, grew up in a peasant family that lives mainly on vineyard and harvest work.
The “Corte Beneficio” vineyard is part of the “Emilia” wine area with a typical geographical indication, a few kilometers from the D.O.C. Bosco Eliceo area, and has some of the most representative varieties of the provinces of Ferrara and Emilia: Sauvignon blanc, Trebbiano Romagnolo, Lambrusco Maestri, Merlot and Fortana.
All grapes are hand-picked and produced according to regional plant protection disciplines with respect to the environment and consumer health.
