Sparkling Wine – Champagne Rosé Brut – Cuchet-Cez – French

189,00

It is a rosé Champagne, with aromas of watermelon, red gooseberry juice, clafouti with cherries and poppy. A wide palette that is further accentuated  by more heady notes of quetsche and peony. The appetizer adds a textured complexity on a slightly pastry background on a background of fig tartlet, black stewed fruits but always supported by a vibrant tension. Powerful without imposing itself, this Rosé ensures a more structuring extension.

Miller: 46% Pinot Noir: 39% Chardonnay: 15%

Description

Passionate about vines and wine, agronomy and biocenosis, François Cuchet comes from a traditional family of winemakers whose origins in the profession date back to the 17th century.  For forty years François Cuchet lived among the vineyards.  An experienced technician with a keen sense of observation, he has been involved in numerous tests in public or private R&D structures for several decades.

His technical knowledge and vision for the vineyard led him to pursue modern and realistic viticulture in line with current consumer expectations.  The vineyard region is located in the territory of the villages of Boursault and Oeuilly, near Epernay, France, mainly on clay-limestone soils.  This means that the rooting of the vine is based on soils from the secondary era, with all those differences that we use for the corresponding grape variety.  The average age of the vines is over 30 years, producing high quality grapes, giving optimum maturity to their harvest.
